OTCF has applied to the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection for permission to acquire control over Simple Creative Products and its subsidiaries. Simple Creative Products sells women’s clothing and accessories (shoes, bags, wallets, jewellery) in showrooms throughout Poland and through its online stores.
The 4F and Simple brands operate in various segments of the clothing market. Sports chains, which include the flagship brand 4F, are growing in terms of both the number of stores and sales value, driven by the fashion for active leisure and a healthy lifestyle. In the elegant women’s clothing segment, many chains either maintain a stable number of outlets or start optimisation processes by closing unprofitable showrooms.
OTCF is therefore sending a clear signal that it plans to diversify its portfolio and create a group of clothing brands under its umbrella. And this, allowing for further speculation, allows us to believe that the Simple takeover may not end.
