After cosmetics to… Zalando

After the announcement in October, the European leader in the sale of fashion articles on the Internet – Zalando introduced the sale of cosmetic articles in Poland. Beauty category was introduced in the hottest commercial period – before Christmas. This is another market, after Germany, in which this product category appeared.

Currently, the Polish website of the company offers over 500 products from the Beauty category, both for women and men. On which you can buy perfumes, make-up, hair and skin care products. In March this year Zalando w sold cosmetic products, initially only for women, but in October the offer was extended to include products for men. The company’s first data indicate that 70% of customers purchase Beauty products also buy clothes, confirming the company’s strategy based on the cross-selling model. Also in October this year Zalando opened its first stationary store in Berlin with cosmetic products under the name Beauty Station Zalando. It is possible that in the future this concept will be introduced to other countries where the company operates, including Poland.
