On 13 July 2020 the Supervisory Board of VRG appointed Andrzej Jaworski as its President. At the same time, Michal Wojcik was dismissed from the company’s Management Board and from the function of the President, and Mateusz Zmijewski from the company’s Management Board and from the function of the Vice-President.

Previously Andrzej Jaworski was a member of the Management Board of Krajowa Społka Cukrowa, PZU and PZU Zycie and was the President of Stocznia Gdansk.

VRG’s portfolio includes five brands: Bytom (men’s fashion), Wolczanka (women’s and men’s fashion), Vistula (men’s fashion), Deni Cler (women’s fashion) and W.Kruk (jewellery brand). At the end of the first quarter of 2020 the VRG store chain comprised 580 outlets (148 Vistula, 125 Bytom, 137 Wolczanka, 30 Deni Kler and 140 W.Kruk). In Q1 2020, VRG Group sales amounted to PLN 197.5m, down 8% y/y. This was due to the closure of shopping malls in March (restrictions imposed by the government to halt the spread of COVID-19 coronavirus).
