Leroy Merlin has decided to expand its offer in the click&collect system and invested in so-called Szybkomaty, i.e. automatic postal boxes. Currently there are 10 parcel machines in 10 locations and the chain is planning to open two more in the near future.

So far, the chain has offered the collection of orders at designated points, and used parcel machines of the courier company InPost. The new investment allowed them to be present in such cities as: Poznan, Warsaw, Zielona Gora, Olsztyn, Bielsko-Biala, Wroclaw, Mikolow, Krakow and Torun. Next ones will appear in Sosnowiec and in Warsaw Targówek. Speed Machine allows you to collect both small and large orders just 2 hours after placing them.

Development of the parcel machines concept

Leroy Merlin has joined the group of parcel machine owners, including Bricomarche which introduced the so-called BricoMaty two years ago. Last year Castorama launched CastoMaty and IKEA followed suit by introducing Skrytki IKEA.
