In mid-October 2018, the first boutique Chanel Fragrance & Beauty Boutique with a cosmetic and perfume assortment, located in Galeria Mokotów, was opened in Warsaw. It is the first boutique of the brand in this part of Europe. The shop’s assortment includes cosmetics and perfumes as well as accessories, including sunglasses.
Chanel is another luxury brand that has recently opened up to the Polish market. Also Giorgio Armani Armani Exchange opened its first store in Poland in September this year. The boutique is also located in Galeria Mokotów and its offer is addressed to the younger generation. Victoria’s Secret also opened a shop in Złote Tarasy in April this year. This is the second full assortment boutique of the brand in the country.
At the end of August last year Victoria’s Secret entered the Polish market, opening the first official full assortment store in Arkadia Shopping Centre in Warsaw. The brand was already present on the market in two Warsaw stores with a smaller concept offering accessories and handbags.
Despite the growing interest in the Polish market among luxury brands in Poland, it is still difficult to find streets to measure Elysée Fields in Paris, Via Condotti in Rome or even Parisian Street in Prague, bringing together the most famous designers in the world. The Vitkac shopping centre was a predestination to be such a luxurious concentration, with brands such as Gucci, Louis Vuitton or Yves Saint Laurent in stock. However, for a long time the centre has not been enriched with any new brand.
