The Danish company Carl Hansen & Son, which specialises in furniture design, opened its first store in Poland on the 10th of December. It’s located in Warsaw, in the Prudential building.

The Polish market shows great interest in Danish design, as the company’s CEO, Knud Erik Hansen points out, which is why the company expects their new venue to attract a lot of attention. In its brand new location, one can purchase such products as the wishbone chair, created by the star of Danish design, Hans J. Wegner. Some of the other Carl Hansen & Son iconic creators whose projects have contributed to the brand’s legacy are Pritzker award laureate Tadao Ando and Brad Ascalon.

The 250 m2 Carl Hansen & Son store will also feature designs from such artists as Kaare Klint, Poul Kjaerholm, Arne Jacobsen and Borge Mogensen.
