Ikea has decided to partner with Glovo, allowing its customers to order food products for home delivery. The chain’s offer will be available under the “Food” tab in the Glovo app and will include, among others, products from the Swedish Shop.

Ikea‘s new collaboration with an important player in the q-commerce market will mean that customers will be able to enjoy the Swedish chain’s iconic meatballs without having to visit a stationary Ikea Bistro. The service will initially be available in Cracow, Katowice, Lublin and Poznan, but from November it will also operate in Warsaw. Orders will be processed during the opening hours of Ikea shops, and the products will be delivered in ecological packaging.

This is another initiative of the chain that will make it easier for customers to order food products. Previously, Ikea has introduced self-service kiosks in selected shops, where customers can order dishes from the Ikea Bistro offer on their own. The service is available in Lublin and Szczecin, and the K-Two Kiosks used in these shops are an innovative self-service checkout solution that is tailored to the needs of the catering industry.
