InPost has launched the parcel machine no 9,000

In the village of Wysocko Male near Kalisz, InPost has just launched its parcel machine (Paczkomat) number 9,000. The company emphasises that by building its network, it places parcel machines both in large and medium-sized towns as well as in small towns and villages.

InPost packet machines (Paczkomaty) are currently available in 16 voivodship cities. They are also installed in 23 towns up to 200,000 inhabitants, 46 towns up to 100,000 inhabitants, 138 towns up to 50,000 inhabitants, as well as in nearly 730 towns up to 20,000 inhabitants and over 1,800 villages. – We are eliminating the technological backwardness of smaller towns and giving them access to services at the same level as the inhabitants of the largest Polish metropolises are used to – stresses Rafał Brzoska, President of InPost.

InPost parcel machines also in… city offices

InPost parcel are currently available at Dino, Lidl and Kaufland shops. The company has signed a contract to install 880 new parcel machines at Delikatesy Centrum shops. It will also install refrigerator parcel machines (Lodowkomaty) for the supply of products requiring refrigerated storage ordered online at Auchan Direct.

In 2020, the company also launched Paczkomaty Urzad 24 in Krakow, Gorzow Wielkopolski, Nowy Targ, Wolomin and Koszalin. They make it possible to handle official matters without entering the building and contacting an official. InPost is holding talks on further installations in several dozen cities.

According to InPost, the number of the company’s parcel machines is twice as high as the number of the Polish Post Office’s own facilities. Additionally, the locations launched in 2019 position the company among the top 3 most active e-commerce entities on the warehouse logistics market, among Amazon and Zalando.
