The Jysk chain is stepping up its omnichannel possibilities and offers click&collect already in 30 minutes. At the same time, orders will be accessible during shop operating hours, at the very latest one day after they are placed.

Online shopping today is booming, majorly boosted by the pandemic, which also comes with a necessity to avoid crowds of people. Jysk answers both these trends by improving its click&collect service – customers who fill up their shopping carts online will be able to pick up their orders and pay for them in the store within 30 minutes. This s the easiest way to shorten the time spent in the store and shorten the time of possible delivery.

At the same time, the orders will be still accessible at another convenient time during the opening hours of the store, at the very latest one day after they are placed. Click&collect assumes pay on pick up, which has an additional advantage – seeing the ordered products physically in a stationary store, leaves the opportunity to replace the product or cancel the purchase before paying.

Jysk entered Poland in 2000 and currently has 238 stores in the country. Despite the difficult situation during the pandemic for brick-and-mortar chains, Jysk made strong expansion plans for Poland. The company is looking for new store venues. It believes there is room for 500 of its stores in Poland, and wants to open at least 15 new locations a year. The chain is also upgrading existing stores and diversifying formats.
