For a long time, Zabka has been consistently investing in the development of its network, building its market position in the modern convenience segment. Now, the time has come for an e-commerce start-up, and Zabka has become the sole shareholder of Lite E-Commerce.

Lite E-Commerce is a new company dealing with Internet services, data processing, and retail sales. The company’s capital amounts to PLN 1.5m and its board members are Zuzanna Dębowska and Zbigniew Sobiecki.  The company has its offices in Warsaw at the Three Crosses Square.

At the moment, Zabka does not reveal any details concerning Lite E-Commerce, but it promises that the start-up will revolutionise the way Poles do their grocery shopping. Lite E-Commerce is currently recruiting specialists. According to the press office of Zabka Group, the company is implementing further innovative projects, and its goal is to increase comfort and speed of shopping. It also says that it is still too early to talk about the launch of the new service.

Although Zabka, which already has more than 7,300 shops, focuses on building its market position in the modern convenience segment (e.g. by opening an autonomous Zappka Store in Poznań or developing the Mobile Zabka concept), in March 2021, it already started expanding into the diet catering market. The Zabka Group was first joined by the Maczfit brand, and at the end of May the chain took over the Dietly.pl platform.
