Amazon Prime entered the Polish market

Amazon has launched Amazon Prime service in Poland on 12 October, thus covering millions of products in more than 30 categories, including cosmetics, electronics, sporting goods, books and toys. Customers of the service can now use unlimited free delivery of Prime-labeled products to their homes, parcel machines or pick-up points with no minimum order value. Prime Video movies and series, free PC games and a monthly subscription to Twitch Prime Gaming are also included in the program. 

Now customers in Poland have joined the more than 200 million Amazon Prime members around the world who are already enjoying its benefits. Access to Allegro Smart for 12 months also costs PLN 49, but the range of services that we get for this price is significantly different. Amazon has included a free 30-day trial period to start, after it runs out, Prime costs PLN 49 per year or PLN 10.99 per month in Poland.

  • Free shipping – free and fast delivery with no minimum order value, covering millions of products in over 30 categories.
  • Prime Video – popular movies and series.
  • Prime Gaming – the possibility to earn free rewards on favorite mobile, PC, and console games from publishers like Riot, Rockstar Games, and EA, among others. A monthly subscription to the Twitch channel and a free bundle of games that remain on the account.

Amazon has been operating in Poland since 2014. In reaction to the launch of Amazon’s new service, around 9:20 a.m. Allegro’s shares dipped 3% on the Warsaw Stock Exchange. .
