In April, households in the town of Zywiec will receive a half-litre bottle of disinfectant “Czyste Rece” for free. The liquid will also be transferred to the hospital in Zywiec. The product is registered in the list of biocidal products kept by the Office for Registration of Medicinal Products, Medical Devices and Biocidal Products.

Grupa Zywiec informed that alcohol, which is a by-product of the production of non-alcoholic beer in the brewery in Zywiec, will be used to produce a disinfectant. Previously, the Group sold it for industrial purposes. Therefore, Grupa Zywiec established cooperation with Krynica Vitamin.

Earlier, in response to the disastrous situation in which the HoReCa industry found itself, the Zywiec Group offered its customers the possibility of returning unopened beer kegs and returning the costs incurred by them.

From 14 April 2020, due to the introduction of an epidemic threat state in Poland (later changed to a state of epidemic due to the spread of coronavirus in Poland), the activity of gastronomic facilities was limited only to the provision of transport services and offering take-away food.
