The Polish e-commerce market develops, and so do the requirements of consumers, who place great importance on the speed of order delivery. The azeta.pl e-shop wants to meet customer expectations and introduces same-day delivery options to create a better shopping experience for customers. For now, such a service is available only in Warsaw, but the company plans to expand it to other cities.
The Covid-19 pandemic has caused a growing number of consumers around the world to make their purchases through online shops. More companies are emerging in the e-commerce market, choosing to offer their customers not only the opportunity to shop online but also to receive their purchases on the same day. Improved speed of delivery is expected to affect the shopping experience of customers, who will be able to take advantage of the wide range of products and good prices offered by online shops and receive their purchases shortly after placing the order.
According to azeta.pl, same-day delivery is often associated by customers with orders being delivered to pick-up points rather than to their homes. Moreover, very few cosmetics e-stores in Poland offer such solutions. Currently, customers of the azeta.pl e-shop in Warsaw have the opportunity to take advantage of same-day delivery if their orders are placed by 4 p.m. Deliveries are made between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m., and customers can track the courier delivery in real time on a map. Over the last month, 7.5% of azeta.pl customers have used such a solution, and interest in the service is still growing, so the company plans to make the same-day delivery option available in other cities in Poland, including Łódź, Wrocław, and Poznań, , while in other locations orders will be delivered on the next working day.
In Poland, express delivery has so far been limited to q-commerce grocery shops such as Lisek and Glovo, and more recently GetnowX. However, as customers become more interested in the same-day delivery option, more and more companies are deciding to introduce such solutions. One of them is the CCC group, which in collaboration with Xpress Delivery introduced the CCC Expres service available in 37 cities in Poland.
