Poczta Polska will continue its cooperation with the Biedronka chain, and in the first half of 2022, the company wants to put up at least 750 parcel machines at the shops belonging to the chain. In addition, the company plans to introduce a mobile application that will enable the tracking of parcels.

Poczta Polska is investing in the development of courier services by expanding the network of parcel machines operating under the Pocztex brand. The company plans to install 2 thousand new machines, and in the first half of 2022, 750 of them are to appear at Biedronka shops. As explained by Tomasz Zdzikot, the President of Poczta Polska, putting the parcel machines in such locations is supposed to increase the competitiveness of Poczta Polska and meet the expectations of customers who want to receive services of the highest quality.

Poczta Polska also wants to launch a mobile application that will make it possible to send, track and collect parcels in the Pocztex machines located at Biedronka shops.

It is worth mentioning that Poczta Polska will receive PLN 190 million from the State Treasury, which will be allocated for investments. The company wants to transform its infrastructure from letter to parcel services in order to become a significant player in the courier market. The modernisation plan for 2021-2023 includes, among others, the development of a network of parcel machines, digitalisation and logistics.
