British clothing chain Primark launched its first store in Poland. It has been operating in Warsaw’s Galeria Mlociny since 20 August.

Primark in Warsaw already operates

Primark had announced its entry to Poland a long time ago. Originally, the facility was to be launched in the spring (we wrote more about it here), but these plans were thwarted by the coronavirus pandemic. Now the chain decided to open a store despite the fact that traffic in shopping malls has not yet returned to the level before the pandemic.

The Warsaw Primark store is located on an area of 3,600 square meters. It occupies two floors and offers men’s, women’s and children’s clothing, as well as footwear, accessories and home furnishing products.

In 2021 another Primark in Poland

The Primark chain opened its first store in Dublin in 1969. Currently it operates nearly 40 stores in Ireland. It also operates in Great Britain, the Netherlands, Portugal, Germany and the US, among others. Entering Poland is another step towards Primark’s development in Central and Eastern Europe. In June 2019, the chain launched its first store in the region, in Ljubljana.

Primark also plans to open a store in Poznan. The opening is planned for 2021.
