UOKiK approves acquisition of Delikatesy Centrum franchisees by Eurocash

9 June 2020 The Office of Competition and Consumer Protection (UOKiK) gave its consent to the acquisition of FHC-1 Sp. z o.o. and Madas sp. z o.o. by Eurocash. The acquired companies are franchisees of Delikatesy Centrum grocery store chain.

Acquisition approval

At the beginning of June 2020, UOKiK agreed that Eurocash SA (Eurocash Group) will take over two companies – franchisees of Delikatesy Centrum grocery store chain. The acquired companies are FHC-1 Sp. z o.o. and Madas sp. z o.o.

Eurocash Group deals with wholesale distribution of FMCG products through a chain of wholesalers, as well as operates on the retail market of sale of everyday articles through chains such as Lewiatan, abc, Groszek, Gama, or Delikatesy Centrum.

The Delikatesy Centrum grocery store chain has been operating since 1999, and since 2006 it is part of the Eurocash Group.
