Flying Tiger, the Danish variety store chain, has now 45 stores in Poland – 40% of them are street venues, 60% are stores in shopping malls. However, this is only half of the goal that the Danish company has set for itself, as Igor Kostenyuk, Country Manager Flying Tiger Copenhagen reveals for Retailnet.pl.

Due to the pandemic, the expansion plans are temporarily suspended. Flying Tiger is closely monitoring the market, and hopes for further development in 2021 – ultimately, they aim to open 80-100 locales in Poland.

The previous year was a challenging time for the company – but despite the decline in sales during the first lockdowns, after the recent covid law relaxations, customers are queueing in front of the stores once again.
