As of 31 March 2020 Karolina Szmidt was appointed President of Henkel Poland. Thus, she replaced Janusz Gołębiowski, former CEO of Henkel Poland.
Karolina Szmidt will combine the role of the President with her previous position as Director of HR in Poland and North-Eastern Europe. The new President work in the company since 2015, when she took over as Director of HR in Poland and North-Eastern Europe. She has 20 years of experience working in international organizations.
She replaced the former president, Janusz Gołębiowski, who retired after nearly 25 years of working for the company. Since 2006, he has held this position, joining the tasks of Director of Finance and Administration.
