Almost simultaneously with Allegro’s highly commented debut, Wearco, owner of Answear.com Internet platform, submitted its prospectus to the Polish Financial Supervision Authority. Thus, it will probably join the group of public companies listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange yet in 2020.

The Answear.com platform has been operating since 2011, selling clothing, footwear and accessories. The platform offers 80 thousand products of about 350 fashion brands. An important part of the offer are those from the premium segment (e.g. Diesel, Guess Jeans, CK, Tommy Hilfiger, Valentino, DKNY). Products from the lower price range are based mainly on Answear LAB own brand.

7 markets in Central and Eastern Europe

Wearco (in the process of renaming Answear.com S.A.) is present on seven Central and Eastern European markets: Poland, Czech Republic, Romania, Bulgaria, Ukraine, Slovakia and Hungary. Interestingly, none of these markets represents more than 30% of the total revenues. In 2019, revenues amounted to PLN 311.2 million, 41% more than in 2018. The current year brought a leap in interest in online shopping in the CEE region, the company said.
