Dino Poland has already installed photovoltaic panels on 100 roofs of stores throughout Poland. By 2021, the number is to increase to 400 stores.

Dino Poland started to implement a policy aimed at reducing its environmental impact with real savings. Among other things, it will contribute to the reduction of harmful substances entering the atmosphere. The first stage is to install photovoltaic panels on the roofs of 400 Dino stores in Poland. In 2021, the panels will have a capacity of up to 14 megawatts (MW), generating about 14 GWh of electricity from the sun per year. Within 2 months, 25% of the project was completed and the power of the panels that have already been installed is approx. 3,5 MW.

Introduction of LED lighting

In 2019, as part of its environmental action, the network completed the process of replacing traditional lighting with LED lighting both in sales rooms and car parks. Newly opened stores are already equipped with energy-saving lighting.

Dynamic development Dino Poland

Dino is one of the most developing chains on the retail market in Poland. In June 2020, the number of shops in Poland was 1302. The Dino Group’s logistics network is based on five distribution centres, with another centre planned to open at the end of next year – in Sierpc.

The financial results for the first quarter of 2020 turned out to be another positive accent. Sales revenues amounted to PLN 2. 22 billion (EUR 510 million), compared to PLN 1. 56 billion (EUR 360 million) last year, which is a 42. 3% year-on-year increase. The increase in revenue was influenced by the COVID-19 pandemic.
