Mazurian Lewandowski’s restaurant already under construction

The company Nowe Mazury 8, whose shareholder is Robert Lewandowski, started, together with three other companies, the construction of a complex on water in Giżycko. It is to house, among others, a restaurant serving Masurian fish.

Apart from the restaurant, the investment plan includes a sailor’s settlement acting as a marina, a fishing simulator using VR technology, a port with a tavern, a former fishing settlement, a large aquarium and the Center for the History of the Great Masurian Lakes Water Route. The complex with the working name Water World is to cost PLN 71m. The funding from the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development (PARP) will be PLN 40m.

Lewandowski with a restaurant also in Warsaw

Last year the player also announced an investment in the capital. The premises will be built in the Warsaw Breweries. The new place on the map of Warsaw’s restaurant is created jointly by Robert Lewandowski, Jacek Trybuchowski, a manager associated with AmRest in the past, and Jerzy Krzanowski, one of the richest Poles. The menu is to be taken care of by Magda Gessler’s son, Tadeusz Mueller, who worked on such concepts as Aioli, Banjaluka, Orzo.

Polish HoReCa market attracts celebrities

The catering market constantly attracts star investments. In 2019, the rapper Quebonafide opened a restaurant in the towers of the Poniatowski bridge in Warsaw. The concept called Mr. OH combines a club and a restaurant. In the summer of 2020, the rapper’s business portfolio was joined by the Miss Ti catering outlet, which serves bubble tea (a tea drink with added tapioca balls).

Another example is Niewinni Czarodzieje 2.0, a chain of restaurants developed by Kuba Wojewódzki (currently 3 establishments). In the hotel segment, in turn, the investments of actor Robert de Niro.
