New Managing Director in Avon for Poland and the Baltic States

Anna Jakubowski joined Avon Cosmetics Poland, where she will serve as the General Manager for Poland and the Baltic States. She took up her new position on 23 April.

Anna Jakubowski joined the CE leadership team and will report to Anegela Cretu, global vice president of Central Europe. Ms. Jakubowski took over from Barbara Goździkowska, who served as the general manager of Avon Cosmetics Polska for the last four years.

Anna Jakubowski started her professional career in Procetr & Gamble, with which she has been associated for over 20 years. In her further professional career she was associated with Coca Cola and Marie Brizard Wine & Spirits Group, an international alcohol distribution company. In both companies, she held the position of General Manager.

Anna Jakubowski is also a member of the Polish supervisory board of Bank Millennium and vice-president and board member of the International Advertising Association (IAA).

Avon is the world’s leading direct selling cosmetics company. Avon Cosmetics Polska was established in 1992. In Poland, the company has been among the leaders of the cosmetics market for several years. According to PMR estimates, in 2018 the company generated revenues exceeding PLN 900 million in Poland.
