According to a PMR survey conducted in January 2020, over half of Poles purchased decorative articles (e.g. frames, carpets, floor coverings, curtains) in the last 12 months preceding the survey.

The vast majority of respondents who bought a floor covering during the year preceding the survey (77% decided to make a planned purchase). Only 23% of respondents decided to make a spontaneous purchase. Spontaneous purchases were more often made by younger people, aged 35-54 (36% in relation to 7% of people over 55) and urban residents (26%).
